WITHDRAWAL

Withdrawal

A minimum of one full calendar month’s written notice is required to withdraw a child from the program. Notice must be submitted on the 1st of a month, and the last day of care will be the final day of the following month. For example, if notice is given on April 1, the child’s last day of care will be May 30.

Withdrawal notices submitted after the 1st of the month will not be accepted for that current month. In that case, the notice will apply to the next month, and payment will be required for the entire additional month. Families are responsible for full payment during the notice period, even if the child does not attend.
Unpaid fees will be subject to daily late charges and may be forwarded to a collection agency if unresolved.

Changing Days of Enrolment

We also require 30 days notice of any  request to change days of enrollment.

Dismissal

At Cedar Grove Childcare Centre, we believe in open communication and proactive problem- solving. When concerns arise—whether brought forward by staff, parents/guardians, or children—a formal meeting will be scheduled to address the matter collaboratively.

This meeting will include the director/board, relevant staff members, and the parent(s)/guardian(s) involved. Concerns may include, but are not limited to:
  • Repeated late tuition payments
  • Failure to follow centre policies
  • Persistent behavioural challenges
  • Late pick up of children
Our goal is always to support families and children while maintaining a safe, respectful, and cooperative environment for all.
