Absences

If your child is absent due to illness or away on vacation, the full monthly fee is still required each month to secure your child’s placement.

Extended Absences

At Cedar Grove Childcare Centre, we understand that families may take vacations or extended time away. To ensure a smooth process, please follow these guidelines  regarding absences and tuition payments.

Notifying the Center of Vacation Plans
  • Families must inform the center in advance of any planned vacations and provide an expected return date.

Tuition Payment During Absences/Vacations
  • To retain your child’s spot, full monthly tuition must be paid during the time away. Fees will continue to be withdrawn on the regular schedule.
  • If a family chooses not to pay tuition during their absence, they must self-withdraw by providing a written notice of one month to the management team.

Re-Enrollment After Withdrawal
  • Families who withdraw may reapply to the center, and the registration fee will be waived.
  • However, a spot cannot be guaranteed within a preferred time frame. If no space is available, the child may be placed on the waitlist until an opening becomes available.
