I eagerly expect and hope that I will in no way be ashamed, but will have sufficient courage so that now as always Christ will be exalted in my body, whether by life or death.    Philippians 1:20   

What is more, I consider everything a loss because of the surpassing worth of knowing Christ Jesus my Lord, for whose sake I have lost all things.  I consider them garbage, that I may gain Christ   Philippians 3:8

Blessed is the man who remains steadfast under trial, for when he has stood the test he will receive the crown of life, which God has promised to those who love him.    James 1:12 ESV

Rather, he made himself nothing by taking the very nature of a servant, being made in human likeness.  And being found in appearance as a man, he humbled himself by becoming obedient to death - even death on a cross!   Philippians 2:7-8 

You Lord are a shield around me; my glory, the one who lifts my head high.   Psalm 3:3  

In your relationships with one another, have the same mindset as Christ Jesus:  Who, being in very nature God did not consider equality with God something to be used to his own advantage;   Philippians 2:5-6   

For I am the Lord your God who takes hold of your right hand and says to you, Do not fear; I will help you.   Isaiah 41:13
