If your child will be late or not in attendance for the day, please ensure that you call the centre by 9:00 am so that we can fine tune our plans for the day. Thank you!
Emergency closures
Taking extreme weather and road conditions into consideration
Rarely do we need to close the centre due to weather conditions; however, if we were to receive a large dump of snow overnight and the news is encouraging people to travel only if necessary and you wish to check to see if the centre is closed, we encourage you to listen to News 1130 (AM) or CKNW (AM) or check their websites. We will contact those stations if we are closing the centre.
As a general rule of thumb, if government employees are encouraged to stay home and not travel to work because of the road conditions, we would most likely close the centre. The other factor that would have us close the centre would be if at any time we were to encounter a power failure which would prevent us from adequately caring for your children.
